Temecula Wine Tour
September 25, 2014
Vibrant Seniors Events will take you to the jewel of Riverside County, Temecula Wine Country, on Thursday, September 25, 2014. With vintage wine, warm weather, local vineyards, stunning landscapes, exquisite antique shopping, and delectable cuisine, it’s one of the loveliest spots on earth. We'll leave Altadena at 8:30 a.m. and return at 5 p.m.
We'll visit Wilson Creek Winery and Vineyards, located in the heart of Southern California Wine Country Gerry and Rosie Wilson own the 20-acre winery with a tasting room open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. You may taste their fine wines for $15 per person; this fee includes tastings of five wines, but does not include their souvenir logo glass or a gratuity.
Meals at the vineyard's spectacular restaurant, Creekside Grille, include fresh seasonal ingredients and award winning Wilson Creek wines. The menu offers delicious appetizers, gorgeous salads, scrumptious sandwiches, and of course, summer specials. Lush thirty-year-old Cabernet grapevines, an herb garden, and flower-filled baskets surround the restaurant; the view and ambiance set the scene for an enjoyable meal.
You may also choose to bring your own meal and eat at the fabulous pavilion with its beautiful gardens, sparkling fountains, a meandering creek, and piped in jazz music.
Time permitting, we may stop in the heart of Temecula, the Old Town district that blends historic buildings with over 640 antique dealers, unique shopping, and restaurants. Tour the Temecula Valley Museum and discover the city’s historical treasures. If it’s shopping you’re looking for, you’ll be sure to find that one-of-a-kind item in a quaint specialty boutique or one of Temecula’s modern neighborhood centers.
We’ll pick you up and you can leave your worries behind. The Temecula Wine Tour is going to be a lot of fun for everyone. For more details and to register, call Annette Spence at (626) 485-2342 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
